Charlie is a member of the firm's Real Estate and Land Use & Permitting Practice Groups. He handles commercial and residential real estate transactions for a variety of corporate, municipal, and individual clients. His practice is results-focused, with a priority on understanding and achieving the client's goals in an efficient and practical manner.
Charlie's clients include corporate entities and individuals involved in real estate, including large and small owners, investors, lenders, developers, landlords and tenants, condominium and homeowner associations, utilities, municipalities, and others with real estate needs. He regularly assists clients with acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, zoning, permitting, title, boundary disputes, and other real estate matters. Representations range from drafting commercial office leases in urban areas to negotiating access easements to waterfront properties to conducting the sale of millions of acres of commercial timberland.
Charlie has written and spoken on numerous real estate topics, including property taxes, FEMA flood insurance rate maps, option agreements, licenses, and easements.
Outside of the law, Charlie is a proud parent of two young children and a greyhound, a volunteer basketball coach, and an active community member.
